On the property of Ravine Lake Park is a building called the 1930's Bathhouse.  This building was used from the 1930-1960's to accommodate swimmers before Huron had a pool.  After the swimming pool opened this building was mainly used as a storage place for 40-50 years.  In 2008 the building was renovated to create an ice cream shop called Scoops.  It's where we serve the region's best ice cream, direct from South Dakota State's Dairy Lab. If you have never had the chance to try SDSU ice cream, Scoops is the place for you!  We also serve delicious pies baked fresh daily (strawberry rhubarb is our best seller).  For any rootbeer fans, we have 1919 Draft Rootbeer on tap; we can also make it into a float for you.  It's definitely a hit among our customers!  We are known in Huron for our signature Chicken Salad Sandwich and FRESH SQUEEZED Lemonade.  To really enjoy life, food should be eaten in moderation.  Since eating healthy is so important, we have joined in partnership with the Huron Wellness Committee in doing what we can to promote smart, healthy choices for food.  We have developed a menu for 2012 that offers the best green salads in Huron and sandwiches made with whole grain bread.
